- Contact WIA office for required paperwork or download and complete forms from website. E-mail
forms to WIA Intake Staff member. - Apply for Financial Aid -- PELL & HOPE, if applicable. (See also our Financial Aid Page.)
- Receive acceptance letter from the approved provider stating chosen program of study, and fax it
to the WIA Intake Staff member.
- Do not sign any loan applications or contracts until WIA training is approved.
- Forward by mail or hand deliver all paperwork to WIA office; and contact WIA Intake Staff
member about progress and any concerns.
- Complete applicable skills assessments -- CAPS, TABE, GCIS, CDM, ASSET, Mavis Beacon,
O'NET-- and discuss selected training program and suitability.
